Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, located in the middle of the Bronx, offers a safe and nurturing environment to stimulate your child’s mind and spirit. We provide Catholic teaching while upholding high academic standards in a small family-like environment.
GOALS

* to work with parents to foster and encourage mastery of the basic skills of learning
After School and Extended Pre-K
are provided to meet the needs of our working parents
Music Lessons
After school with the Bronx Conservatory of Music
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School provides a curriculum for Pre-K through Grade 8 in accordance with the Archdioceses of New York as well as the State of New York.
Every student participates in:

*Library
*Computer Class
*Physical Education
*First Friday Mass
*Advent and Lenten Prayer Services
*Service Projects
ITBS Tests are given in March to all students in grades K-8. New York State ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies Tests are administered in the appropriate grades (4-8) at the designated time of year.
Title I Remedial Services for eligible students in grades K-8 are available.
All students are required to participate in Religion classes, attend Mass and Prayer Services.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School has a dedicated faculty and staff who achieve high academic excellence within a spiritual environment.
